Austria's Anna Gasser made her Olympic debut in snowboard slopestyle in 2014, having only taken up the sport professionally a few seasons prior! After qualifying first, a fall in the final cost her the chance to step on the Olympic podium. Four years later at PyeongChang 2018, she fulfilled her dream of becoming an Olympic champion when she won the women's big air event and she even defended her title at Beijing 2022!
